Two 4-2 Teams, but Evan Has the Much Better Week 7 Setup

Eric and Evan enter Week 7 tied at 4-2, but their lineups don't look remotely equal right now. i didnt hear no bell is projected to beat Aaron 4 President 116.24–91.01, a 25.23-point advantage. Evan has Dak Prescott, Javonte Williams, Justin Jefferson, DK Metcalf, Rashid Shaheed, Carnell Tate, Ollie Gordon, and Juwan Johnson all active. Eric counters with Tony Pollard, Cam Skattebo, Christian Watson, Brock Bowers, Xavier Worthy, Rome Odunze, and Zay Flowers, but Trevor Lawrence currently carries a zero projection. Eric was in first place one week ago before Amelia dropped 163.65 on him. Evan just cruised to a 55-point win. One of these 4-2 teams is about to get a very different-looking record.

Keith and Amelia Meet in a 4-2 Contender Game

Panthers14 and bryce young and hungry are both 4-2 and sitting directly behind first-place Alexis, making this one of the biggest standings games of Week 7. Keith enters as a 132.14–114.35 favorite behind Jordan Love, Ashton Jeanty, Jaylen Warren, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Garrett Wilson, Harold Fannin, and Luther Burden. Amelia counters with Kirk Cousins, Kenneth Walker, Malik Nabers, Jalen Coker, Sam LaPorta, Omar Cooper, and KC Concepcion. Amelia just scored 163.65 and demolished the previous first-place team, so the 17.79-point projection gap deserves some skepticism. Keith has the better Tuesday projection. Amelia has the hottest lineup in the league.

Father vs. Son, and Owen Is Already in Trouble

Week 7 gives us the family matchup: Joe's Mud Dogs against Owen's PancakePower. Joe enters at 4-2 and is projected to win 120.74–98.61. Mud Dogs has Brock Purdy, Bucky Irving, CeeDee Lamb, Matthew Golden, Tucker Kraft, DeVonta Smith, and T.J. Hockenson, although Hockenson is questionable. Owen counters with Puka Nacua, George Pickens, Chase Brown, Chuba Hubbard, Aaron Jones, Tyler Warren, and Quinshon Judkins. The biggest problem is quarterback: Jalen Hurts is currently on IR with a calf injury and carries a zero projection. Judkins and Warren are also questionable. Owen is 1-5 and badly needs a win. Unfortunately, Dad currently has both the better record and a 22.13-point projection advantage.

The 1-5 Team Is Favored Over First Place. Sure.

This may be the most Domestic Pigskin Society projection of the season. Alexis enters Week 7 alone in first place at 5-1. Austin is 1-5 and tied for the league's worst record. Naturally, GirlfriendTaker is projected to win 79.24–76.54. The reason is the bye week. Alexis currently gets zero projections from Josh Allen and Keaton Mitchell, leaving D'Andre Swift, RJ Harvey, Tetairoa McMillan, Germie Bernard, Isaiah Likely, and Blake Corum to carry Nix for Six. Austin also has a zero at quarterback with Jayden Daniels, but still has Drake London, Jaylen Waddle, Saquon Barkley, Emeka Egbuka, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Colston Loveland. The margin is only 2.70 points. First place against 1-5 should not look like this. That's exactly why it probably will.

Clark vs. Michelle Comes With a Lot of Missing Players

The household rivalry arrives at an inconvenient time for both rosters. The Android is 3-3 and projected to beat ButterflyKisses 96.50–90.70, but Clark currently has zero projections from Mike Evans and Davante Adams. Adams is on IR after hamstring surgery, while Evans is dealing with an Achilles issue. Michelle has her own problems: Kimani Vidal and Terry McLaurin currently carry zero projections, with McLaurin listed OUT. Clark still has Matthew Stafford, Jonathan Taylor, Kyren Williams, George Kittle, Woody Marks, and Tyrone Tracy. Michelle counters with Bijan Robinson, Nico Collins, Travis Kelce, Denzel Boston, Wan'Dale Robinson, and Jacoby Brissett. Only 5.80 projected points separate husband and wife. Bragging rights may come down to whoever solves the roster problems first.

Mike Gets Sam After Finally Reaching .500

Don't Panic! pulled off one of the biggest Week 6 upsets and finally climbed to 3-3. The reward is a matchup with a 2-4 Insert Team Name that has scored 751.45 points and is projected to win 117.44–100.23. Sam brings Joe Burrow, Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, Trey McBride, Kyle Pitts, Tre Tucker, Chimere Dike, and J.K. Dobbins. Mike counters with Tyler Shough, Chris Olave, Amon-Ra St. Brown, A.J. Brown, Michael Mayer, Emanuel Wilson, Corey Kiner, and DeMario Douglas. A.J. Brown is questionable with an ankle injury, and Mike's running back room is not exactly inspiring confidence. Last week Mike laughed at a much larger projection deficit. Sam may want to keep that in mind before getting comfortable with this 17.20-point edge.

Amelia Doesn't Just Beat First Place. She Destroys It.

The projection liked Amelia. It apparently wasn't nearly confident enough. bryce young and hungry exploded for 163.65 points and crushed Aaron 4 President 163.65–101.30, knocking Eric out of first place. Malik Nabers led Amelia with 28.50, Kenneth Walker scored 27.90, Kirk Cousins added 26.65, James Cook scored 24.30, and Omar Cooper erupted for 22.30 against a 5.86 projection. Eric actually got a huge 39.40 from Trevor Lawrence, but almost nothing else matched it. Cam Skattebo scored zero, Christian Watson managed 9.40, and Brock Bowers finished with 11.00. Amelia beat her projection by 44.57 points and moves to 4-2. Eric falls to 4-2 after a 62.35-point beating.

The Fantasy King Gets His Get-Well Game

Evan needed a rebound and PancakePower provided exactly what the doctor ordered. The newly renamed i didnt hear no bell beat Owen 102.00–46.40 in a game that was effectively over before most of Sunday mattered. Rashid Shaheed's 22.40 Thursday performance ended up as Evan's best score, while Carnell Tate added 19.00 and Dak Prescott scored 17.60. Owen's lineup was devastated by unavailable players. Jalen Hurts, Chase Brown, Quinshon Judkins, Tyler Warren, and Aaron Jones combined for zero points, leaving Chuba Hubbard's 19.10 and Puka Nacua's 14.00 to do almost all the work. Evan improves to 4-2. PancakePower falls to 1-5 after scoring only 46.40.

Keith Handles Business and Moves to 4-2

Thursday pointed toward a Panthers14 win, and nothing over the weekend changed the direction. Keith beat GirlfriendTaker 113.50–87.50 to improve to 4-2. Jordan Love led Panthers14 with 26.00, Jaxon Smith-Njigba's Thursday score held at 25.40, Luther Burden added 17.50, and Ashton Jeanty scored 15.80. Austin got 28.00 from Jayden Daniels, 18.50 from Colston Loveland, and 17.80 from Emeka Egbuka, but Rhamondre Stevenson and MarShawn Lloyd combined for only 4.60 while Saquon Barkley scored zero. Neither team reached projection, but Keith had more than enough. Austin falls to 1-5.

Joe Wins the Week's Ugliest Game

Nobody is framing this score and hanging it on the wall, but Mud Dogs will happily take the win. Joe beat ButterflyKisses 82.90–56.00 despite missing his projection by 31.75 points. Matthew Golden led Mud Dogs with 22.40, Brock Purdy added 22.00, and CeeDee Lamb scored 16.00. Michelle's lineup completely collapsed. Nico Collins was her highest scorer at only 10.90, Jacoby Brissett managed 10.10, Bijan Robinson scored 7.30, and every starter finished below projection. ButterflyKisses missed its projection by an astonishing 62.31 points. Joe moves to 4-2. Michelle's attempt at a winning streak ends immediately at 1-5.

Sam put up 138.55 points and still couldn't stop Nix for Six. Alexis exploded for 149.75, beat the projected favorite by 11.20, and moved to 5-1 as the only five-win team in the league. Germie Bernard led the way with 25.70, Josh Allen scored 24.85, Isaiah Likely added 23.90, and D'Andre Swift scored 23.00. Sam absolutely made her earn it. Christian McCaffrey scored 30.70, Tre Tucker erupted for 26.70, Bryce Young scored 26.65, and Chimere Dike added 17.60. Both teams crushed their projections, but Alexis beat hers by 35.78 points. The contender test is over. Nix for Six leaves Week 6 sitting alone in first place.

Friday gave Mike almost no chance. Sunday apparently never read the preview. Don't Panic! stunned The Android 129.40–111.00, beating projection by 20.31 points and turning a massive expected deficit into an 18.40-point victory. Tyler Shough erupted for 34.40, Bhayshul Tuten scored 24.70, Michael Mayer added 16.50, and Keenan Allen contributed 16.20. Clark got 22.10 from Matthew Stafford, 21.10 from Jonathan Taylor, and 17.90 from George Kittle, but Kyren Williams managed only 9.70 and the lineup finished 17.14 below projection. Mike moves to 3-3 with one of the biggest projection-defying wins of the season. Turns out the correct response really was Don't Panic!
