Could 0-6 Dmangina Really Feed a Vampire?

Dmangina enters Week 7 at an almost unbelievable 0-6, but this may finally be the matchup that breaks the streak. The winless Slayer is projected to beat Blade 129.08–79.24, a massive 49.85-point advantage. Dmangina has Caleb Williams, Quinshon Judkins, David Montgomery, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jaylen Waddle, Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, Chris Godwin, and Jake Ferguson. Blade counters with Bryce Young, Brock Bowers, Emanuel Wilson, Kendre Miller, Devaughn Vele, Kalif Raymond, and Rashod Bateman, but Keon Coleman and Kimani Vidal currently carry zero projections and another starting slot is completely empty. This is a Slayer-versus-Vampire matchup, so a Blade victory would mean a Feeding. Right now, though, the 0-6 team is the one holding all the cards.

Father Callahan Is Hunting a Third Straight Statement Win

Father Callahan has spent the last two weeks ending perfect seasons. Now he gets 2-4 D, and the projection gives Callahan a 111.09–76.94 advantage. Matthew Stafford, Kenneth Walker, Puka Nacua, Nico Collins, Tucker Kraft, Mark Andrews, and the Houston defense lead Callahan's lineup, although Rachaad White, Stefon Diggs, and Ladd McConkey currently carry zero projections. D has Ashton Jeanty, Emeka Egbuka, Zay Flowers, Luther Burden, Dallas Goedert, and the Pittsburgh defense, but Jalen Hurts is on IR and several other starters currently project for zero. D just pulled off one of the biggest upsets of Week 6, so dismissing this lineup would be dangerous. Father Callahan is still favored by more than 34.

The Elder Vampire Gets Richter at the Worst Possible Time

Santanico Pandemonium just won Blood War II and improved to 2-4. The reward is a Week 7 matchup against a Richter Belmont team that just scored 146.70 and is back to 5-1. Richter is favored 111.50–92.35. D'Andre Swift, Tony Pollard, DeVonta Smith, Carnell Tate, Juwan Johnson, Javonte Williams, Michael Wilson, and CeeDee Lamb give Richter plenty of depth even with Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville defense currently carrying zero projections. Santanico has Alvin Kamara, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jalen Coker, Denzel Boston, Keenan Allen, Pat Freiermuth, and the Kansas City defense, but currently has an empty quarterback slot. This is a normal Vampire-versus-Slayer matchup, so an Elder victory would mean another Feeding. Richter would probably prefer not to become the meal.

Edgar Is Back to .500 and Suddenly Heavily Favored

Edgar Frog enters Week 7 at 3-3 after beating Dmangina and now draws another 3-3 team in Abraham Lincoln. The projection isn't nearly as balanced as the records. Edgar is favored 130.23–89.46, a 40.77-point advantage. Drake Maye, Chris Olave, George Kittle, Breece Hall, A.J. Brown, Rhamondre Stevenson, Blake Corum, and the Denver defense give Edgar a much fuller lineup, although Brown and Hall are questionable. Lincoln counters with Brock Purdy, Jonathan Taylor, J.K. Dobbins, Courtland Sutton, Tyler Higbee, and Makai Lemon. Omarion Hampton and DJ Moore currently carry zero projections, with Moore listed OUT. Same record, very different Tuesday outlook.

Lucian's Perfect Season Is Gone. The Projection Is Still Terrifying.

Father Callahan finally knocked Lucian from the ranks of the undefeated, but Week 7 still finds the 5-1 Slayer heavily favored over But it was I Dio. Lucian holds a 130.53–95.35 projection advantage despite Josh Allen currently carrying a zero on his bye. Jahmyr Gibbs, Derrick Henry, Bucky Irving, DK Metcalf, Matthew Golden, Harold Fannin, Tetairoa McMillan, and Aaron Jones still give Lucian plenty of firepower. Dio counters with Kyren Williams, Garrett Wilson, Trey McBride, Kyle Pitts, RJ Harvey, TreVeyon Henderson, and Wan'Dale Robinson, but Jayden Daniels and James Cook currently carry zero projections. Lucian finally lost. That doesn't mean the rest of the league suddenly gets an easy matchup.

State of Decay Has a Massive Edge Over a Banged-Up Solomon

Solomon Kane fell to 3-3 after last week's shocking loss to D, and Week 7 isn't offering much relief. State of Decay is projected to win 145.81–98.16, a 47.65-point advantage. Taren has Jordan Love, Christian McCaffrey, Chuba Hubbard, Tee Higgins, Christian Watson, Travis Kelce, Saquon Barkley, Colston Loveland, and the Philadelphia defense. Solomon counters with Bijan Robinson, Drake London, George Pickens, Isaiah Likely, Jaylen Warren, Cam Skattebo, and Tyler Allgeier, but Justin Herbert currently carries a zero projection and Davante Adams is on IR following hamstring surgery. Solomon has scored 879.70 points through six weeks, so the 3-3 record already feels harsh. The Week 7 projection isn't showing much sympathy.

Friday gave D almost no chance. Sunday gave D a 24.80-point win. Grimmlaw stunned Solomon Kane 121.80–97.00, beating projection by 16.86 points while Solomon missed his by 36.66. Bhayshul Tuten led D with 24.70, Emeka Egbuka scored 17.80, Luther Burden added 17.50, and Ashton Jeanty finished with 15.80. Solomon got 23.90 from Isaiah Likely, but Bijan Robinson scored only 7.30, Cam Skattebo gave him a zero, and several other starters came in well below expectation. Solomon entered Friday with a projected advantage approaching 54 points. D leaves Week 6 with the win and a 2-4 record.

The Elder Wins Blood War II

Blood War II belongs to Santanico Pandemonium. The Elder Vampire beat Blade 114.60–87.75, turning a close projection into a 26.85-point victory. Keenan Allen led Santanico with 16.20, the Kansas City defense added 16.00, Dameon Pierce scored 15.00, Alvin Kamara finished with 14.90, and Jalen Coker added 14.70. Blade got 26.65 from Bryce Young and 15.90 from Keon Coleman, but Brock Bowers scored only 11.00, Emanuel Wilson managed 5.20, Rashod Bateman gave him a zero, and the Colts defense scored just 2.00. Because this was a Blood War, there is no Feeding. Santanico gets the victory, the +$10 FAAB bonus, and bragging rights over the Turned Vampire.

State of Decay Survives Dio's Push

Dio made this much closer than the projection suggested, but State of Decay held on 135.10–127.50. Christian McCaffrey led State with 29.70, Jordan Love scored 26.00, Chuba Hubbard added 19.10, and Colston Loveland delivered 18.50. Dio countered with 28.00 from Jayden Daniels, 24.30 from James Cook, and a huge 23.00 from Kyle Pitts. But Kyren Williams, Garrett Wilson, and Wan'Dale Robinson all finished well below projection. State missed its own projection by nearly 15 points and still escaped. Taren moves to 4-2 while Dio falls to 2-4 despite scoring 838.50 points through six weeks.

Edgar Gets Back to .500. Dmangina Gets to 0-6.

Edgar Frog handled the desperation game 118.75–100.45 and climbed back to 3-3. Drake Maye led Edgar with 32.15, George Kittle added 17.90, Blake Corum scored 14.00, and the Denver defense contributed another 14.00. Dmangina got 28.50 from Malik Nabers, 25.40 from Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and 20.55 from Caleb Williams, but the running back situation was disastrous. Quinshon Judkins and David Montgomery both scored zero, and the Minnesota defense added another zero. Dmangina actually beat projection slightly and still lost by 18.30. Six weeks in, the record is now an increasingly unbelievable 0-6.

Richter Responds With a 64-Point Demolition

Richter Belmont's first loss apparently made him angry. One week after Father Callahan ended the perfect season, Richter destroyed Abraham Lincoln 146.70–82.20. Trevor Lawrence erupted for 39.40, D'Andre Swift scored 23.00, DeVonta Smith added 20.50, Carnell Tate scored 19.00, and CeeDee Lamb finished with 16.00. Lincoln's top scorer was Brock Purdy at 22.00, with Jonathan Taylor adding 20.10 and J.K. Dobbins 13.60. Almost everything else disappeared. Richter wins by 64.50, improves to 5-1, and keeps himself right beside Lucian at the top of the standings.

Last week Father Callahan handed Richter Belmont his first loss. This week he did it again to Lucian. Callahan beat the league's last undefeated team 120.80–112.75, ending Lucian's perfect season at 5-0. Kenneth Walker led Callahan with 27.90, Matthew Stafford scored 22.10, Stefon Diggs added 16.40, and Rachaad White finished with 15.70. Lucian got 24.85 from Josh Allen, 22.40 from Matthew Golden, and 20.30 from DK Metcalf, but Derrick Henry scored only 4.00, Harold Fannin managed 1.90, and several other starters missed badly. Neither team came close to projection, but Callahan found enough. Two weeks. Two previously undefeated teams. Father Callahan is becoming a problem.
