Mike Fixed the Roster. jmdacey Still Has Control.

This is fine. looked nearly dead on Tuesday, but Mike has rebuilt aggressively. Patrick Mahomes is now at quarterback, Tetairoa McMillan joins Zay Flowers at receiver, Brenton Strange replaces Brock Bowers, and the 49ers defense has replaced Cincinnati. George Holani also gave Mike 8.00 points Thursday. Unfortunately, jmdacey had an even better night. RJ Harvey scored 14.60 and Jaxon Smith-Njigba added 25.40, giving jmdacey 40 points already scored and a 135.73–103.37 expected advantage. James Cook, Kenneth Walker, Dallas Goedert, and C.J. Stroud are still waiting. Mike repaired the disaster. jmdacey responded by making the repaired version look bad too.

Recap

jmdacey Drops 182 and Makes the Preview Look Conservative

Mike rebuilt the roster. jmdacey responded by scoring 182.40 points. This is fine. finished at 101.10, but the matchup was never remotely close. C.J. Mike's best player was Keon Coleman at 15.90, while Patrick Mahomes finished with only 14.20. jmdacey beat projection by 52.71 points and won by 81.30. After losing for the first time in Week 5, jmdacey answered with one of the biggest scores of the season.

Njibas Might Actually Be Building a Winning Streak

Njibas in Paris finally broke through last week with a 155.40-point explosion and now enters Friday favored again, 123.44–114.42 over Multiple Scoregasms. Njibas has Drake Maye, Puka Nacua, Cam Skattebo, Isaiah Likely, Saquon Barkley, Denzel Boston, and the Philadelphia defense. Barkley and Boston carry questionable tags, but this lineup looks considerably stronger than Tuesday's version. Multiple counters with Jayden Daniels, Bucky Irving, Jaylen Warren, Emeka Egbuka, Rome Odunze, Michael Wilson, and Rashee Rice. No one has played yet. One week ago Njibas was 0-4 and apparently cursed. A second straight victory would be a very Carousel way to erase that narrative.

Recap

Njibas Has an Actual Winning Streak

Two weeks ago Njibas in Paris was 0-4. Now it's 2-4. Njibas beat Multiple Scoregasms 115.25–102.90 behind 32.15 from Drake Maye, 23.90 from Isaiah Likely, 19.00 from Carnell Tate, and 14.00 from Blake Corum. Multiple got 28.00 from Jayden Daniels and 17.80 from Emeka Egbuka, but Bucky Irving, Jaylen Warren, Rome Odunze, and Michael Wilson all underperformed. Njibas finished almost exactly on projection and didn't need another miracle performance. Apparently the curse really did expire.

Terrifier Finally Won. Now Here Comes Rob The Rich.

Terrifier finally won last week and then drew undefeated Rob The Rich. Thursday did nothing to make that assignment easier. Denver's defense scored 14.00 for Rob The Rich, beating its projection by 7.47 and pushing the team's expected total to 142.71. Terrifier remains at 115.38, leaving Rob The Rich with a 27.33-point advantage. The undefeated lineup still has Josh Allen, Bijan Robinson, Derrick Henry, George Pickens, Chris Olave, Davante Adams, and Dalton Kincaid. Terrifier counters with Kirk Cousins, Brock Bowers, Matthew Golden, Terry McLaurin, Wan'Dale Robinson, and Luther Burden. Bowers is questionable with a knee injury, while Olave is dealing with an illness. Terrifier finally proved it can win. Beating the league's only 5-0 team is a completely different problem.

Recap

Rob The Rich Survives Its Worst Week Yet

Rob The Rich finally looked vulnerable. It still didn't lose. The undefeated team beat Terrifier 95.55–76.75 despite missing projection by 45.47 points. Josh Allen led the lineup with 24.85, Denver's defense scored 14.00, Chris Olave added 14.30, and George Pickens scored 13.30. Bijan Robinson and Derrick Henry combined for only 11.30, while A.J. Brown managed 4.70. Terrifier couldn't take advantage. Caleb Williams scored 20.55 and Luther Burden added 17.50, but most of the lineup struggled. Rob The Rich improves to 6-0, proving that apparently even a bad week isn't enough to stop the unbeaten run.

Dobbins Turns a 16-Point Gap Into a Four-Point Game

This matchup looked much safer for hicksb89 before Thursday. J.K. Dobbins scored 13.60 for Chaos Theory, beating his projection by 6.16, while the Seattle defense managed only 3.00 for hicksb89. The result is a much tighter 122.30–117.77 expected edge for hicksb89, just 4.53 points. Chaos Theory still has Brock Purdy, Garrett Wilson, Parker Washington, Tyler Warren, Alvin Kamara, and Tony Pollard. hicksb89 counters with Jordan Love, Kyren Williams, Javonte Williams, Puka Nacua, Trey McBride, Christian McCaffrey, and Harold Fannin. DeVonta Smith currently carries a zero projection and is questionable with a hamstring injury. The Carousel gave Chaos Theory exactly the Thursday it needed. Now we have a game.

Recap

That Four-Point Game Became a 52-Point Beating

Thursday made this matchup look close. Sunday destroyed that illusion. hicksb89 beat Chaos Theory 133.10–81.30 by 51.80 points. Christian McCaffrey led the way with 29.70, Jordan Love scored 26.00, DeVonta Smith added 20.50, and Ryan Flournoy scored 17.00. Chaos Theory got 22.00 from Brock Purdy and 14.90 from Alvin Kamara, but almost everything else disappointed. Najee Harris scored 0.20, Tyler Higbee managed 3.20, and the Jaguars defense scored 1.00. Kyle remains projected for 150.56, a massive 37.36-point advantage. Kyle has Jacoby Brissett, Jonathan Taylor, Chuba Hubbard, Drake London, Christian Watson, George Kittle, Ashton Jeanty, CeeDee Lamb, and the Pittsburgh defense. Logopolis counters with Bryce Young, Bhayshul Tuten, Davante Adams, Travis Kelce, Mike Evans, Juwan Johnson, and the Kansas City defense. Kyle is already 4-1 and one game behind undefeated Rob The Rich. If the projection is anywhere close to right, that chase continues.

Recap

Kyle Keeps Chasing the Undefeated Team

KyleKlann didn't come close to the giant projection, but still handled Logopolis 130.60–108.35. Jonathan Taylor led Kyle with 20.10, Chuba Hubbard scored 19.10, George Kittle added 17.90, CeeDee Lamb scored 16.00, and Ashton Jeanty finished with 15.80. Emerald City has Matthew Stafford, Rhamondre Stevenson, Malik Nabers, Nico Collins, Tucker Kraft, Braelon Allen, D'Andre Swift, and the Baltimore defense. Quinshon Judkins is questionable. Sam counters with Tyler Shough, MarShawn Lloyd, Josh Downs, DK Metcalf, Colston Loveland, Jalen Coker, Ladd McConkey, and the Houston defense, with Downs and McConkey questionable. Bucky Irving Has the Undefeated Express in Trouble

jmdacey entered Week 5 at 4-0 expecting a manageable matchup against 1-3 Multiple Scoregasms. Bucky Irving had other plans. Irving erupted for 31.50 points Thursday, beating his projection by 16.43 and giving Multiple an immediate jolt. Dallas' defense managed only 1.00 point, but jmdacey answered with 17.20 from Emeka Egbuka. After the Thursday dust settled, Multiple Scoregasms actually moved in front of the projection battle, 130.91–128.46, a 2.44-point edge. James Cook, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Tee Higgins still headline jmdacey's remaining lineup, although one starting slot is still empty. Multiple counters with Jayden Daniels, Jaylen Warren, Michael Wilson, Romeo Doubs, and Jameson Williams. Four weeks of perfection are now genuinely in danger, and the Carousel finally looks interested in jmdacey.

Recap

Multiple Doesn't Just End the Perfect Season

The undefeated express didn't merely derail. It went off a cliff. Multiple Scoregasms crushed jmdacey 155.90–72.80, handing him his first loss in spectacular fashion. Jaylen Warren exploded for 36.80, Jayden Daniels scored 34.25, Bucky Irving added 31.50, and Jameson Williams chipped in 18.70. jmdacey's highest scorer was Emeka Egbuka at just 17.20, while RJ Harvey managed 0.70 and Najee Harris scored 2.40. Mike has Aaron Rodgers, David Montgomery, Omarion Hampton, Brock Bowers, Zay Flowers, and Keon Coleman in the lineup, with Flowers carrying a questionable tag. Terrifier counters with Kirk Cousins, Jeremiyah Love, Ollie Gordon, Terry McLaurin, Khalil Shakir, and Matthew Golden, with Love and McLaurin both questionable. Mike won Brock Bowers in last week's Carousel swap, and in a matchup this close, that addition could matter immediately. Terrifier has lost four straight. Nothing would be more on-brand for this league than watching that streak end against Mike.

Recap

Of Course Terrifier's First Win Came Against Mike

Njibas in Paris entered Week 5 at 0-4 and drew one of the league's stronger teams. Thursday at least gave a little help when Javonte Williams scored 14.20 for hicksb89, finishing 4.89 points below projection. Unfortunately, the gap is still enormous. hicksb89 is now favored 136.55–96.05, a 40.50-point advantage. Christian McCaffrey, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, Trey McBride, and Kyler Murray are still waiting to play for hicksb89. Njibas counters with Drake Maye, Cam Skattebo, Sam LaPorta, Carnell Tate, and a lineup carrying several questionable tags. Kyle Monangai is currently sitting on a 0.00 projection, which does not help matters. The good news is that Thursday did not bury Njibas. The bad news is that the rest of the matchup still looks like it might.

Recap

Njibas Goes Nuclear and Finally Gets a Win

Apparently Njibas in Paris was tired of being told how hopeless everything looked. The 0-4 team exploded for 155.40 points and upset hicksb89 155.40–152.85 in the closest Chaos matchup of the week. Drake Maye went completely insane for 51.20 points, beating his projection by 27.27, while Isaiah Likely added 32.40 and Sam LaPorta scored 19.80. hicksb89 put up a strong 152.85 behind 37.70 from Puka Nacua, 22.55 from Kyler Murray, and 21.60 from Trey McBride, but it still wasn't enough. Allen, Bijan Robinson, Derrick Henry, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Davante Adams, and Dalton Kincaid still have not played. Logopolis counters with Trevor Lawrence, Chase Brown, Chris Olave, Bhayshul Tuten, Mike Evans, and a handful of injury questions. Logopolis is 2-2 and has scored a respectable 548.25 season points. Rob is 4-0, has scored 555.50, and just keeps collecting more talent. At some point the Carousel is supposed to make life difficult for the undefeated teams. Apparently nobody told Rob.

Recap

Bijan Robinson's 27.70 and Tyler Shough's 20.80 were enough to overcome several disappointing performances. Insert Team Name got 23.05 from Josh Allen and 18.60 from Ashton Jeanty but couldn't finish the upset. Then came the Carousel fallout: Josh Allen moved to Rob The Rich and Tyler Shough went the other way. The undefeated team somehow survived a bad week and walked away with Josh Allen. That seems fair.

Chaos Theory Has the Edge, Which Feels Suspicious

Chaos Theory enters Week 4 at 2-1 with one of the league's strongest scoring totals and a 142.91 projection against KyleKlann's 121.12. Jonathan Taylor, Garrett Wilson, Alvin Kamara, Jaylen Waddle, and Brock Purdy give Chaos Theory plenty of firepower. KyleKlann counters with Joe Burrow, CeeDee Lamb, George Kittle, Drake London, and Chuba Hubbard. The projections favor Chaos Theory by 21.79 points. Naturally, in a league literally named Carousel of Chaos, that probably means everyone should prepare for the exact opposite.

Recap

The Carousel Heard 'Favorite' and Started Laughing

Chaos Theory entered as a 21.79-point favorite. KyleKlann responded by scoring 158.50 and winning by 43.50. CeeDee Lamb detonated for 41.30 points, Joe Burrow added 31.00, and Chuba Hubbard scored 25.90 as Kyle beat projection by a ridiculous 37.38 points. Chaos Theory got 25.80 from Brock Purdy, 22.80 from Alvin Kamara, and 22.70 from Jonathan Taylor, but Garrett Wilson and Parker Washington combined for only 7.70. KyleKlann improves to 3-1 while Chaos Theory falls to 2-2. This is why projecting anything in this league feels like tempting fate.

The First Unbeaten Matchup Just Flipped

jmdacey and hicksb89 both enter Week 3 at 2-0, but Thursday changed the favorite. jmdacey opened with a 1.51-point projection edge, only to get -2.00 from the Green Bay defense. That drops the updated expected total to 130.65, while hicksb89 remains at 139.98 without a starter having played. The matchup has flipped to a 9.32-point advantage for hicksb89, turning one of the week's closest games into a noticeably tougher climb for jmdacey.

Recap

jmdacey Responds With a 74-Point Beatdown

Friday had hicksb89 favored after the matchup flipped on Thursday. jmdacey apparently took that personally. Jahmyr Gibbs exploded for 41.40, Jaxon Smith-Njigba added 35.50, and Tee Higgins scored 21.00 as jmdacey demolished hicksb89 150.70–76.85. Even a zero from Rico Dowdle and -2.00 from the Packers defense couldn't make this remotely close. jmdacey improves to 3-0, while hicksb89 falls to 2-1 after missing projection by 20.87 points. And now, because this is the Carousel, the winner gets to take something home from the wreckage.

Logopolis remains at 126.65, cutting what began as a 19.94-point advantage down to 10.06. Terrifier is still 0-2, but the upset path looks much more realistic heading into the weekend.

Recap

Logopolis Slams the Door

That upset path disappeared in a hurry. Logopolis erupted for 161.20 points and crushed Terrifier by 55.00, with Trevor Lawrence, Ja'Marr Chase, Brock Bowers, Chris Olave, and the Vikings defense all delivering big performances. Terrifier actually finished almost exactly on projection at 106.20 and got strong games from Kirk Cousins, Matthew Golden, and Terry McLaurin. It simply didn't matter. Logopolis improves to 2-1, Terrifier falls to 0-3, and now the Carousel gets to rearrange the evidence.
