Last One, I Swear!
League Rules
Year 3 — You already know how this works.
You said you weren't joining another league.
You said you were cutting back.
You said you already had too many teams.
And yet, here you are.
🏈 Rule #1
You know the rules.
This is not your first fantasy league. It is probably not your second. At this point, explaining fantasy football to you would be insulting.
📝 The Draft
Draft players you are convinced everyone else is sleeping on.
Then spend the next four months pretending you absolutely meant to take that guy three rounds too early.
💰 Waivers
Spend entirely too much FAAB on a player you had never heard of six days earlier.
Bonus points if you immediately tell everyone he is "league-winning upside."
🔄 Trades
Send trade offers that are completely fair and reasonable.
Especially the ones where you send three bench players for someone's RB1 and then act confused when they decline.
📋 Lineups
Set your lineup.
Then change it seven times Sunday morning and spend the rest of the day regretting the final version.
🤕 Injuries
Your best player will get hurt.
This will happen immediately after you announce that your roster is "actually kind of stacked."
📊 Projections
When projected to win, projections are meaningful and highly accurate.
When projected to lose, projections are completely useless and should never be trusted.
😤 Losing
If you lose, it was bad luck.
Bad matchups. Injuries. Fluky touchdowns. Terrible coaching. Certainly not your fault.
😎 Winning
If you win, it was skill.
Elite roster construction. Superior waiver discipline. High-level matchup awareness. Absolutely no luck involved.
🏆 Playoffs
Spend fourteen weeks proving you built the best team.
Then lose in December because some backup running back scores three touchdowns.
🤝 The Most Important Rule
Talk trash.
But remember: the screenshots last forever.
At the end of the season, you will say:
"That's it. I'm done. No more leagues next year."
Sure.
See you at the draft.
